Here are some answers to frequently asked questions before purchasing the Qwerkywriter.
Will you have the Pink or Mint back in stock?
No, those colors were limited edition runs and will not be sold again. We may offer other colors in the future.
Will this fit the latest iPad Pro?
Yes, the Qwerkywriter's heavy duty stand can support any tablet up to 13 inches both vertically and horizontally, up to 5/8 inch in thickness.
Why doesn't the Qwerkywriter have backlit LEDs?
- Battery Life. Our customers preferred battery life over anything else so we prioritized battery life. When you add LEDs, the drain on the keyboard is immense.
- Light bleed. The way most backlit switches are designed, with our "floating" typewriter keycaps, the LED exhibited excess residual "light" bleed, making the LED very distracting from our overall aesthetic. We are working on ways to really contain the light pipe but that requires other compromises. Other knock-offs add the LED anyways despite this LED bleeding and frankly we think it looks cheap and distracting.
- High Contrast Etching. Finally, we think that the high contract etching is just fine and legible in even low light.
Does the Qwerkywriter have hot-swappable switches?
The Qwerkywriter currently does not have hot-swappable switches. We think that the current Cherry MX clicky switches clearly match our Typewriter aesthetic.
Does it work on PC or Mac?
The new Qwerkywriter® has USB connection and Bluetooth and will work on all PCs and Macs. Certain PCs (older PCs pre 2015 or PC's without a Bluetooth Transmitter) may require a separate bluetooth dongle in Bluetooth mode.
Will the Qwerkywriter ship to my country?

What is your warranty?
We will support parts & labor for 1 year after your purchase date. Buyer is responsible for shipping costs.
Any damage that is caused by the user will not be covered under warranty (such as liquids, abuse, alteration, improper storage, unauthorized repairs, modification, accidents, neglect, abuse, or use with other cables/devices not recommended). If you'd like to repair the damage, you will be charged parts & labor.
To obtain warranty service, please contact us at support@qwerkytoys.com with subject line "Warranty Service". Do not return any unit without contacting us first.
What is your return policy?
Not happy with your order? You can return your order within 30 days of delivery for full refund minus any misc fees like shipping warranty, gift wrap and shipping upgrades (i.e. next day air, etc).
If unit has been visibly used, or missing cables and or packaging box is damaged (missing foam), there may be a restocking fee. To process a return, please click here.
To avoid any charges, all returns and exchanges must include the original packing material, product box and accessories.
Refunds will generally appear within 3-5 business days after it's been processed. It will be refunded back to the original method of payment.
